How this snapshot is made
- A scheduled job reads the public store feed. That is the same feed the store itself uses for its front page, so it is a first-party source rather than a scrape of rendered HTML.
- Each app it finds is looked up individually to collect the price, the platforms, the developer and the system requirements.
- Apps that fail this site’s inclusion rules are dropped before anything is written: adult content ratings, apps with too few player reviews, and non-game entries such as hardware, soundtracks and DLC.
- The surviving records are written to a dated file. One file per day is kept, so the series can be compared against itself later.
- This page is rebuilt from that file. If the source is unreachable, the previous snapshot stays published rather than the site going blank.
Why there is no “discount probability” on this page yet
A discount probability needs a history of a game’s price, and this site only started recording on 2026-09-18. With a single day of data, any percentage shown here would be invented.
So this page does not show one. What it does instead is record one entry per game per day, so that the pattern becomes measurable rather than guessed. A game needs to be seen on sale at least three separate times before any cadence is claimed for it anywhere on this site, and the page for that game says so explicitly when the count is lower.
What this page does not do
- It does not claim a price is the lowest ever. It can only say what the lowest price is since this site started recording. Those are different statements and the wording matters.
- It does not convert prices between regions. One region is recorded, consistently, so the series stays comparable.
- It does not include adult-rated titles or unproven apps, even when they are heavily discounted. That is a deliberate exclusion, not an oversight.
- It does not track how long a discount has left. The feed reports an expiry for some entries; until that is captured reliably for every entry, it is not shown here rather than shown partially.
What was left out of this snapshot, and why
Being explicit about exclusions is the point of this site. In the run that produced this page, the feed offered 635 entries. They were filtered as follows:

The second row is the honest one to look at. Until it is non-zero, nothing on this site claims to know when a game goes on sale — it only knows what the price is right now, and it is writing that down daily so that the claim becomes possible later.
